A quiet stories app for children

Quiet stories.
Nothing else.

Hand-illustrated. Calm narration. Public-domain classics from the European tradition — Norse mythology, Greek mythology, Andersen, Grimm, Beatrix Potter. For bedtime, the back seat, rainy afternoons at the cottage — any moment that needs winding down.

Mainstream kids' apps farm attention. This one doesn't. The stories play through, the images go quiet, and when the story ends the app stops — whether that's bedtime, the end of a long car ride, or a rainy afternoon at the cottage. There are no streaks, no badges, no "you've listened to 17 stories!" celebrations. The app doesn't try to keep your child watching, because that isn't what these moments are for.

You'll find six visual style families in the catalogue — gouache, watercolour, pen-and-ink, woodblock-print, soft pastel, and classical engraving — chosen so a Norse saga doesn't read like a Beatrix Potter, and a Beatrix Potter doesn't read like an Aesop's fable. The diversity is the experience.
